When anyone talks about “right to work” laws, I think of this cartoon. I might have posted this before, but it needs to be rehashed.

Right to work laws are not about ‘individual freedom’. They are about undermining the unions. The unions are basically the workers only hope, within capitalism. Unions gave you the weekend, they gave you workers protection laws, they gave you child labor laws, etc… They stop the workers from being COMPLETELY fucked over (now we’re only partially fucked over). When someone is a scab and they work in spite of a strike, they are handing power over to corporations. Every person who undermines the union in this way directly contributes to corporate power. One of the few things we can do to ‘stick it to the man’ is to say ‘fuck you, I’m not working’, but even conservatives are so intent on spreading conformity, and obedience that they are essentially rendering a general strike useless. 

And that’s a bunch of bullshit.
